The Lightstrip behind the TV automatically turns on when the TV is on and the ambient brightness is low.
This automation creates an immersive viewing experience by automatically turning on the Lightstrip behind the TV when the TV is on and ambient brightness is low, enhancing the enjoyment of movies or TV programs. The Nanoleaf 4D Lightstrip must first be registered through the Nanoleaf app before being integrated with SmartThings. The Vallhorn sensor can be registered directly to the SmartThings hub without the Dirigera hub by installing an Edge Driver. (Visit this link(https://api.smartthings.com/invitation-web/accept?id=6b68563b-1905-4654-8d2b-e677a2997424), log in with your SmartThings (Samsung) account, enroll the hub of your desired location, select Available Drivers, and install the "Zigbee Motion Sensor Mc" Edge Driver. Afterwards, you can add the device through the SmartThings app.) Refer to the provided screenshot or use the automation template QR code for easy automation setup in the SmartThings app. Install the Vallhorn sensor in the same room as the TV, away from direct sunlight, to accurately measure ambient brightness. Adjust the illuminance threshold (lux) as necessary to optimize for your specific environment. Note that it may take at least 20-30 seconds for changes in illuminance levels to reflect, so set your desired trigger condition duration accordingly.
