When the window is closed, the blind closes as well.
My bedroom window directly faces another apartment building, so for privacy, I always have to lower the blinds whenever I close the window. This automation setup has made things so much more convenient, as I no longer have to press the button to close the blinds every single time.
I have a Tapo T110 contact sensor on the window, which lets me know if it's open or closed. This sensor is connected to a Tapo H200 hub, which is registered to my SmartThings hub via Matter. This allows it to work locally with my IKEA smart blinds, which are connected to the SmartThings hub via Zigbee. This means the automation works seamlessly without needing an internet connection.
