Register Smart Plug in Apple Home: - Open the Apple Home app. - Tap the "+" button and select "Add Accessory." - Scan the Matter QR code or enter the pairing code provided with the Tapo Smart Plug. - Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.
Ensure HomePod Mini Setup: - Verify your HomePod Mini is properly set up in Apple Home and located in your bedroom to accurately monitor humidity levels.
Create the Automation: - In the Apple Home app, navigate to the Automation tab. - Tap the "+" icon to create a new automation. - Choose "A Sensor Detects Something" and select humidity. - Set the condition to activate when humidity drops below 45%. - Select the Tapo Smart Plug to turn it on when triggered. - Save and enable your new automation.
